Alliance for Peace

Dear Community Members,

We’re reaching out with an urgent and exciting opportunity for us to come together and make a lasting impact on our neighborhood. Over the years, Little Bangladesh, located along 3rd Street between Alexandria and New Hampshire Avenue, has been home to countless hardworking families. But as our community grows, we can no longer ignore the visible decline in parts of our neighborhood. The streets are marred by graffiti, neglect, and deterioration—and it’s time for us to take action.

We have the power to turn this around, and I propose we begin with an immediate graffiti removal initiative across all of District 10. With the LA 2028 Summer Olympics just around the corner, now is the perfect time to beautify our streets and restore the pride that this district deserves. The eyes of the world will soon be on our city, and it’s crucial that we stand together and put our best foot forward. While managing a district of 270,000 people is no small task, we are a team of passionate, committed residents who can drive the change we need.

Having lived here for 19 years, we know firsthand the heart and soul of this community. Together, we can take a stand against the small minority of individuals who are contributing to the decay and disruption in our area. With your support, we can launch a district-wide graffiti removal campaign and build a stronger, more connected community through an empowered neighborhood watch program.

This is our chance to make a real difference—one that will be felt for years to come. Let’s not wait any longer. The time to act is now. Let’s join forces, take bold action, and create a neighborhood that we can all be proud of.

Together, we can make this happen!

Let’s do this,
B.B.
